DIRECTIVES ON TREATMENT OF ACCUSED PERSONS AND SUSPECTS BY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.

This directive is issued in fulfillment of the mandate of the Commission to, deal with all matters relating to the promotion and protection of human rights, do all such things that are incidental, necessary or conducive or expedient for the performance of its functions and to carry out all such other functions as are necessary or expedient for the performance of its functions under the Enabling Act as amended.
