NHRC FLAGS OFF A NATIONAL SURVEY ON THE LEVEL OF HUMAN RIGHTS AWARENESS IN NIGERIA

The Commission flagged off a national survey on the level of human rights awareness in Nigeria on 10th September 2015. The survey will evaluate the level of awareness knowledge of rights amongst various strata of the Nigerian populace. The result of the survey will help in the formulation of new strategies of awareness creation and human rights education to empower people to defend and claim their rights.
