NHRC PARTNERS WITH ROYAL DANISH EMBASSY TO IMPROVE HUMAN RIGHTS WELFARE IN NIGERIA

The Ambassador Royal Danish Embassy Torben Getterman paid an official visit to the Executive Secretary National Human Rights Commission, Prof. Bem Angwe to discuss areas of collaboration with the Commission to foster ways to improve the promotion, protection and enforcement of Human Rights promotion, in the country.
Prof. Angwe welcomed the idea of collaboration stressing that the Commission is mandated to collaborate with local and international bodies to advance the course of human rights in Nigeria. He added that the Commission is in need of technical support in areas of capacity building, logistics etc.
