FOREWORD
Human rights are universal and inalienable rights. They are the basic rights and freedoms that every human being is entitled to, regardless of their race, gender, religion, or any other status. These rights include the
right to life, liberty, and security of person, freedom of thought, conscience, and expression, and the right to participate in government and to fair and impartial treatment under the law. Unfortunately, human rights violations occur in every corner of the world, and Nigeria is no exception. Despite the country's progress in protecting and promoting human rights, there remain several challenges that need to be addressed.
