FORWARD
The Project on Protection of Persons of Concern through Human Rights Monitoring in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states is a collaborative effort of the National Human Rights Commission and The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The project started in 2015 with 10 project states.
INTRODUCTION:
The first quarter report reflects activities carried out in the BAY states of Bornu, Adamawa and Yobe under the NHRC/UNHCR IDP Protection Monitoring Project between January and March 2022. It covers 10 LGAs, in Bornu, 6 LGAs of Adamawa and 2 LGAs of Yobe.

The third quarter 2021 reports show the scope of the Northeast Protection human rights monitoring activities carried out by Human Rights Monitors (HRMs) in the project states of Borno with 10 LGAs, Adamawa with 6 LGAs and Yobe (BAY States) with 2 LGAs respectively.
